Incident Narrative
An employee was sweeping a bedroom on the second floor of a new-built residence. She backed into a hallway and fell from a balcony in a place where the guardrail had not been completed. She landed about 12 feet below, on stairs at the bottom of a stairway; she then rolled down to the floor. She suffered three broken ribs on the left side, as well as a fractured lower-back vertebra.
