Incident Narrative

An employee was working at the laydown yard moving windmill components. As the employee was stepping from atop one windmill machine head to another adjacent windmill machine head, she slipped and fell 15 feet to the ground below. The employee suffered a compression fracture of the L1 vertebra, a broken pelvis and a broken right ankle.
