Incident Narrative

At about 3:45 a.m. on January 24, 2019, an employee was emptying parts from an electroplating barrel. He rotated the barrel to get the last of the parts, and the gears caught his glove. His left hand was pulled into the gears, resulting in the amputation of the last joint of the left middle finger. He was hospitalized.
