Incident Narrative

An employee was operating a grapple truck and loading 30-foot sections of railroad track at the storage yard. The end of the rail struck his abdomen and pinned him against the truck seat while he was attempting to load the rail on the truck. He suffered a traumatic hernia of the abdominal wall.
