Incident Narrative

The employee was helping truss chickens and had placed her hand on the conveyor belt that was stopped due to a product back up. When the conveyor started, the employee's finger was caught in a metal part. The employee pulled her hand out of the part resulting in amputation of the left middle finger between the end of the nail and the knuckle.
