Incident Narrative

Employees used a box to hold up a decorative wooden box surrounding a vertical truss. As the injured employee pulled the cable out from inside the truss, the box holding up the decorative box slipped, causing the decorative box to fall onto the victim's left hand. The employee suffered lacerations, a contusion and possible fracture to the left hand.
