Incident Narrative

An employee was working on a trailer door and pinched the end of his finger in between two of the panels of the trailer door, amputating the tip of his right ring finger. The employee took the clamp off the track before attaching a horizontal bracket. After removing the bracket the employee was unable to hold the door while trying to retrieve a ladder.
