Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain engine block heaters, with part numbers GJ7Z-6A051-BA and GJ7Z-6A051-AA, sold as accessory parts. The engine block heater may crack and develop a coolant leak, causing it to short circuit when the block heater is plugged in.
Consequence: An electrical short circuit can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Owners are advised not to plug in their block heater until their vehicle is remedied. The brake fluid level sensor may not activate the visual warning indicator when the brake fluid is low. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems."
Consequence: Without a low brake fluid warning light, the vehicle may be driven with low brake fluid, reducing braking performance and increasing the risk of a crash.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022 Mustang Mach E vehicles equipped with an extended range battery. The high voltage battery main contactors may overheat.
Consequence: An overheated high voltage battery contactor can result in a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the high voltage battery junction box, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 10, 2025. Owners may contact Ford Customer Service at 1-866-436-7332.
