"THIS WAS A FIRE FIRST SITUATION. THE FIRE STARTED UNDER A NEARBY PICNIC TABLE THAT HAD SMOKING MATERIALS AROUND IT. THE FIRE IS BELEIVED TO HAVE STARTED UNDER THE PICNIC TABLE AND SPREAD TO THE GAS METER LOCATION. THE PLASTIC SERVICE LINE INSIDE THE RISER MELTED, RELEASING NATURAL GAS THAT CAUGHT FIRE. THE FIRE WAS EXTIGUISHED BY PINCHING OFF THE PLASTIC SERVICE LINE."
