MIDLAND STATION OPERATOR OBSERVED OIL AROUND THE SAMPLER AT THE CHEVRON #1 SAMPLER. INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT AN O-RING ON THE SAMPLER HAD FAILED AND RESULTED IN A CRUDE OIL LEAK OF APPROXIMATELY 1 BARREL. SYSTEM WAS ISOLATED AND O-RING REPLACED AND REMEDIATION COMPLETED.
