ON 9/26/16 KEMP CONSTRUCTION, A CONTRACTOR FOR AT&T WAS PERFORMING A 2 INCH BORE FOR FIBER OPTIC WHEN THEY STRUCK A 4 INCH STEEL KANSAS GAS DISTRIBUTION MAIN PIPELINE. KEMP DID NOT HAVE VALID LOCATES FOR THIS AREA AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. ON 10/13/16, KGS RECEIVED AN INVOICE FROM THE CONTRACTOR THAT PERFORMED THE REPAIR WORK IN EXCESS OF THE $50,000 THRESHOLD.
