CONTROLLER NOTICED LINE IMBALANCE AND SHUT DOWN THE LINE. FIELD PERSONNEL VERIFIED THE RELEASE BY A BLOCK VALVE AND ISOLATED THE LINE SEGMENT BY CLOSING MANUAL BLOCK VALVES. INVESTIGATION REVEALED ANODIC INTERFERENCE CAUSED ACCELERATED EXTERNAL CORROSION RATE ON THE PIPE.
