THE INTERNAL DIAPHRAGM INSIDE THE VOLUME REGULATOR SPLIT ALLOWING CRUDE OIL TO ESCAPE THROUGH A WEEP HOLE IN THE SECURE SIDE OF THE DEVICE. THE GASKET WAS FOUND TO HAVE A SPLIT IN THE AREA THAT FLEXES EACH TIME THE SAMPLER PULLS A SAMPLE. THE GASKET APPEARS TO HAVE A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. THE SAMPLER HAS BEEN TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE.
