Incident Narrative
AT 11:30 AM ON 07-27-14, A CONTRACTOR AT HOBBS STATION FOUND A LEAK ON THE 10"" SUCTION LINE ON TANK 5204 INSIDE THE TANK DIKE. AREA WAS EXCAVATED AND DETERMINATION WAS MADE THAT THERE WAS A PIN HOLE LEAK AT THE 6 O'CLOCK POSITION OF THE PIPE DUE TO INTERNAL CORROSION. LEAK WAS STOPPED BY APPLYING A CLAMP AND THE AREA WAS PROMPTLY CLEANED UP.
