Incident Narrative
AT 17:50 ON AUGUST 1, 2014, CONTROLLER RECIEVED A HAZARDOUS ATMOSPHERE ALARM AT KERRICK STATION. THE STATION WAS SHUTDOWN AND BYPASSED AND THE AREA SUPERVISOR WAS NOTIFIED. TECHNICIAN ARRIVED AT KERRICK STATION AT 22:00 AND FOUND THE #2 UNIT INBOARD SEAL HAD FAILED. THE UNIT WAS ISOLATED AND BLED DOWN AND THE SEAL WAS REPLACED. THE PUMP WAS TESTED PRIOR TO RETURNING TO SERVICE.
