APPROXIMATELY 4 BBLS OF CRUDE OIL WERE RELEASED FROM A LOW SECTION OF PLAINS 12-INCH FACILITY PIPING AS A RESULT OF INTERNAL CORROSION. THIS PIPING EXPERIENCES INTERMITTENT FLOW AND SITS IDLE THE REMAINDER OF THE TIME. PLAINS BLINDED OFF THE PIPING AND HAS REVAMPED THIS SECTION IN ORDER TO REMOVE THE LOW AREA. ALL PIPELINES RUNNING THROUGH THE FACILITY WILL REMAIN ACTIVE BUT A FLUSH OF THE MANIFOLD IS TO BE COMPLETED BY THE END OF 2016.
