APPROXIMATELY 3 BBLS OF CRUDE OIL WERE RELEASED WHEN A PUMP SHAFT BROKE ON THE TANK BOOSTER, CAUSING A GAP BETWEEN THE SHAFT AND SEAL. PLAINS INSTALLED A NEW SEAL AND MOTOR. IN ADDITION, PLAINS WILL ADD SEAL LEAK DETECTION AT THIS SITE. 09/24/2024 - UPDATED BY PHMSA PER OPERATOR APPROVAL.
