"ON 7/8/2022 AT 2:45 AM CST, DURING FACILITY ROUNDS, PIPELINE OPERATOR LOCATED CRUDE OIL LEAKING FROM A 2 INCH NIPPLE OFF THE INLET TO METER SKID 1001 AT APPELT TERMINAL. THE SKID HAS BEEN ISOLATED AND SOIL REMEDIATED. THE FIELD EXAMINATION IDENTIFIED THE CAUSE TO BE INTERNAL CORROSION; THE 2 INCH NIPPLE WAS REPLACED. TO PREVENT RECURRENCE ALL 2 INCH NIPPLES AT APPELT TERMINAL WILL BE REPLACED. ENTERPRISE NOTIFIED TRRC ONCE THE VOLUME WAS ESTIMATED TO EXCEED 5 GALLONS. AT 12:00 PM ON 7/10/2022, ENTERPRISE DETERMINED THAT REPAIR COST WAS ESTIMATED TO EXCEED $50K. NRC WERE IMMEDIATELY NOTIFIED. 48 HOUR UPDATE NRC REPORT NUMBER: 1341273"
