"PIPELINE TECHNICIAN WAS PERFORMING ROUTINE SITE SURVEILLANCE ACTIVITIES AND IDENTIFIED A SMALL PRODUCT LEAK TO THE PUMP SKID SECONDARY CONTAINMENT. THE LEAK WAS ORIGINALLY BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN FROM A LOOSE TUBING FITTING, BUT SUBSEQUENT INVESTIGATION SHOWED THE LEAK WAS FROM THE PUMP SEAL. PUMP WAS CLEARED OF PRODUCT AND THE SEAL WAS REPLACED. CAUSE OF SEAL LEAK DETERMINED TO BE NORMAL WEAR. QUANTITY OF PRODUCT RELEASED BASED ON OBSERVATIONS OF FIELD PERSONNEL."
