Incident Narrative
A LEAK ON A 10 INCH HPD LINE CROSSING THE ARKANSAS RIVER IN APPROXIMATELY 27 FEET OF WATER WAS IDENTIFIED BY A THIRD PARTY AND REPORTED TO AOG DISPATCH. FOLLOWING NOTIFICATION THE PRESSURE IN THE LINE WAS REDUCED, FOLLOWED BY ISOLATION OF THE CROSSING SEGMENT, WHICH SUCCESSFULLY STOPPED THE LEAK. DUE TO THE LOCATION OF THE LEAK IN THE BOTTOM OF THE RIVER, THE CAUSE OF THE LEAK IS UNDETERMINED AT THIS TIME. THE LINE WAS REPLACED WITH FINAL TIE IN OF THE NEW LINE COMPLETED ON 10/6/2020.
