PAVING CONTRACTOR ANDERSON COMPANY, WORKING FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA USED AN EXCAVATOR AND HIT A 2"" PLASTIC SERVICE TEE. NRC NOTIFICATION WAS MADE DUE TO SHUT DOWN OF NAVY YARD BALLPARK METRO STATION BY DC FIRE DEPARTMENT. THE STATION WAS MONITORED BY DC FD & WG. NO INDICATIONS OF NATURAL GAS WERE FOUND. 48HR FOLLOW UP NRC # 1267452
