A CONTRACTOR CAME IN CONTACT WITH A 6"" MAIN WHILE DIRECTIONAL BORING. DUE TO NOT POTHOLING THE GAS LINE PRIOR TO BORING, THE PIPELINE WAS DAMAGED. DUE TO THE DEPTH OF COVER, THE PIPELINE WAS ABANDONED BENEATH A DOT STATE ROAD. NEW PIPELINE WAS INSTALLED.
