"APPROXIMATELY 10 BARRELS OF CRUDE OIL WERE RELEASED FROM 42"" REGULATED FACILITY PIPING AT ST. JAMES TERMINAL. THE DATE AND TIME OF THE RELEASE (PART A Q4) ARE INDICATIVE OF THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE TIME THE RELEASE COULD HAVE STARTED BASED ON THE LAST TIME THE INCIDENT LOCATION HAD BEEN VISITED AND CONFIRMED TO BE NO RELEASE OF CRUDE OIL. THE SUB-CAUSE OF THE RELEASE AND ASSOCIATED P&M MEASURE ARE UNDER INVESTIGATION, AND A SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT WILL BE SUBMITTED. SUPPLEMENTAL: THE CAUSE OF THE RELEASE IS ATTRIBUTED TO INTERNAL CORROSION AS A RESULT OF MICROBIOLOGICALLY INDUCED CORROSION (MIC). TO PREVENT FUTURE INCIDENTS, PLAINS WILL REDUCE THE DIAMETER OF THE PIPE TO PROMOTE GREATER FLOW, AS WELL AS RE-ROUTE THE PIPELINE ABOVEGROUND. SUPPLEMENTAL (2): UPDATED THE MOP AND CORROSION COUPON INFORMATION."
