PIPELINE WAS LAST FLUSHED BEFORE IDLING OVER10 YEARS AGO. AS A PART OF PREPARATION FOR ABANDONMENT, PIPELINE WAS FLUSHED, AND 0.0001667 BARRELS OF OIL ESCAPED. THE DAMAGE TO THE PIPELINE THAT ALLOWED THE OIL TO ESCAPE IS BELIEVED TO HAVE OCCURRED AS A RESULT OF THE HURRICANES IN THE INTERVENING YEARS.
