DURING OPERATOR ROUNDS ON 9/21/23 AT 17:50, THE OPERATOR DISCOVERED APPROXIMATELY 10 GALS OF CRUDE OIL ON THE GROUND WITHIN SECONDARY CONTAINMENT IN THE TANK FARM. THE EXPANSION JOINT ON THE SUCTION LINE TO THE TANK WAS FOUND TO HAVE A SLOW LEAK. AFTER FURTHER INVESTIGATION, THE CONCLUSION WAS MADE THAT METAL STRESS IN EXPANSION JOINT CREASE CAUSED THE RELEASE.
