Incident Narrative
ON 4/11/2024 AT 15:45 PM, DURING STATION ROUNDS, ENTERPRISE OPERATOR IDENTIFIED A LEAK WITHIN THE MIDLAND TANK FARM FACILITY; IT WAS ESTIMATED THAT 60 BARRELS OF CRUDE OIL WAS RELEASED. THE LINE WAS ISOLATED, EXCAVATED AND REMEDIATED. THE CAUSE HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED TO BE INTERNAL CORROSION AT A 6 O'CLOCK POSITION; THE B-SLEEVE HAS BEEN INSTALLED AND PIPELINE RETURNED INTO SERVICE.
