TERRABORNE PARRISH SHERIFF DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL NOTICED BUBBLES IN LAKE PELTO AND REPORTED SAME TO TENNESSEE GAS PIPELINE (TGP). TGP DETERMINED THAT A SMALL LEAK WAS OCCURRING ON ITS 26"" 523M-100 PIPELINE. DIVER INVESTIGATION REVEALED A PINHOLE LEAK IN A GIRTH WELD AT APPROXIMATELY THE 6 O'CLOCK POSITION ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PIPE. REPAIRS WERE MADE BY INSTALLING A LEAK CLAMP AND THE PIPELINE WAS PLACED BACK INTO SERVICE.
