ON 7/22/20, CONTRACTOR WAS DRILLING (SHORING) WHILE PERFORMING ROAD WORK WHEN A 6"" STEEL MAIN WAS STRUCK. IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE CONTRACTOR WAS EXCAVATING ON AN EXPIRED LOCATE TICKET AND FAILED TO PERFORM AN ADDITIONAL CALL TO THE ONE CALL CENTER TO UPDATE THEIR LOCATE TICKET.
