CONTRACTOR WAS USING A CATERPILLAR 324E TRACKHOE TO EXCAVATE A TAIL DITCH TO PULL PIPE THROUGH A BORE AT STATE HWY 5 AT SPUR 339 IN MCKINNEY, TEXAS. DURING THE EXCAVATION, A 6 INCH HIGH PRESSURE STEEL COMPANY MAIN WAS DAMAGED.
