Incident Narrative
A THIRD-PARTY INVESTIGATION OF THIS EVENT DETERMINED THAT A LIGHTNING STRIKE CAUSED A FIRE AT THE NEIGHBORING KINDER MORGAN BORDER STATION FACILITY. THE FIRE SPREAD TO CAUSE SECONDARY DAMAGE TO THE SPIRE BORDER STATION FACILITIES AND A RELEASE OF GAS FROM CONNECTED SENSING PIPELINES. THE ENTIRE BORDER STATION IS BEING REPLACED DUE TO THIS EVENT.
