ON 4/22/2022 AT 04:18 CENTRAL TIME BLACK HILLS ENERGY WAS NOTIFIED BY EMERGENCY RESPONDERS OF A RESIDENTIAL FIRE AND REQUESTED BHE TO RESPOND. THE LOCATION IS 302 MAPLE IN ONAWA IOWA. UPON ARRIVAL THE TECHNICIAN FOUND THE HOME ENGULFED IN FLAMES. THE FIRE HAD CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE METER AND REGULATOR. THE SERVICE LINE WAS EXCAVATED AT THE STREET AT A SAFE DISTANCE FROM THE FIRE AND CUT OFF AND CAPPED.
