"THIS IS A ""FIRE FIRST"" INCIDENT. A FIRE STARTED INSIDE THE SHOP/GARAGE. THE 1/2"" CTS POLYETHYLENE SERVICE LINE MELTED INSIDE THE STEEL RISER RELEASING NATURAL GAS. THE REGULATOR AND METER WERE BURNED IN THE FIRE. THE STRUCTURE WAS A TOTAL LOSS. NATURAL GAS IS NOT BELIEVED TO HAVE CAUSED OR CONTRIBUTED TO THE FIRE."
