"ON FRIDAY 10/24/25, HAWAII GAS'S TRANSMISSION & DISTRIBUTION (T&D) DEPARTMENT RELOCATED A SECTION OF SYNTHETIC NATURAL GAS (SNG) COATED STEEL MAIN ON THE FORT SHAFTER MILITARY BASE. FORT SHAFTER REQUESTED THIS RELOCATION TO ALLOW FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A PARKING STRUCTURE. DURING THE RELOCATION EFFORTS, A PORTABLE PROPANE-AIR UNIT (PAU) WAS USED TO SUPPLY GAS TO THE HALE
