ON FEBRUARY 16, 2011 AT 11:04 AM ROSS CONTRACTING DAMAGED AN UNMARKED 6"" PLASTIC GAS MAIN AT THE INTERSECTION OF PARK-RIDGE DR. & RIDGEVILLE BLVD. WITH AN EXCAVATOR WHILE DIGGING ON MISS UTILITY TICKET #11058181 TO INSTALL A WATER MAIN. BGE MAINTANCE & REPAIR CREW MEMBERS MADE REPAIRS TO THE 6"" PLASTIC PIPE WITH 2- 6"" COUPLINGS AND 2' OF PLASTIC PIPE. OTHER WORK ASSOCIATED WITH THE MAIN REPAIRS INCLUDED RELIGHTING 247 RESIDENTIAL HOMES. THIS WAS NECESSARY BECAUSE SUPPLY WAS CUT OFF IN ORDER TO MAKE TIMELY REPAIRS.
