ON 9/13/2011 AT 12:29 911 KITSAP COUNTY NOTIFIED CASCADE NATURAL GAS CORP. (CNGC) OF A CAR CRASH INTO A HOME CAUSING A STRUCTURE FIRE. THE VEHICLE SEVERED THE GAS RISER AT THE THREADS BELOW THE METER STOP WHICH CAUSED THE GAS TO BLOW WIDE OPEN AT 59 PSIG ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE VEHICLE TRIGGERING IGNITION OF THE GAS AND BURNING THE VEHICLE AND HOME. NO ONE WAS IN THE HOME AND BYSTANDERS EXTRACTED THE DRIVER FROM THE VEHICLE AND HE WAS TRANSPORTED TO HARRISON GENERAL HOSPITAL WITH NON LIFE THREATENING INJURIES. AT 13:40 THE FLOW OF GAS WAS STOPPED.
