ON APRIL 17, 2012 A GAS LEAK WAS FOUND DURING ROUTINE LEAK SURVEY ON A 2-INCH DISTRIBUTION FEEDER MAIN (DFDS3639) TAPPED DIRECTLY OFF OF TRANSMISSION LINE 132 AT MP 32.32. UPON EXCAVATION, THREE 2-INCH GIRTH WELDS WERE FOUND LEAKING. ON APRIL 19, 2012 TL-132 WAS DEPRESSURIZED FROM MP 31.93 TO MP 36.99 TO MAKE WELD REPAIRS ON THE 2-INCH PIPE. THE REPAIRS WERE COMPLETED ON APRIL 19, 2012 AT 2030 HOURS AND LINE 132 WAS REPRESSURIZED. AT 1330 HOURS ON APRIL 20, 2012, THE COST OF REPAIRS WAS ESTIMATED TO EXCEED $50,000 MAKING THIS A REPORTABLE INCIDENT. THERE WAS NO IGNITION, INJURIES OR FATALITIES AS A RESULT OF THIS INCIDENT. NO CUSTOMERS LOST SERVICE. THE CAUSE OF THIS INCIDENT IS FAULTY WELDS.
