A MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC LOST CONTROL OF THEIR VEHICLE AND CRASHED INTO THE GAS METER AND REGULATOR SET. THE GAS IGNITED AND THE STRUCTURE SUSTAINED SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE. IT WAS MADE SAFE BY CLOSING THE CURB VALVE.
