Incident Narrative
DURING A LEAK SURVEY, SOUTHWEST GAS DISCOVERED A GRADE 1 LEAK ON A TWO-INCH PVC MAIN AT 4362 E. LAKE MEAD BOULEVARD IN CLARK COUNTY. SEVERAL GAS CONTROL PLANS WERE ESTABLISHED. SOUTHWEST GAS IMPLEMENTED A SECTION OF THEIR VALVE ISOLATION PLAN TO QUICKLY MITIGATE THE SITUATION AND ELIMINATE THE LEAK. FOR THIS REASON, SERVICE TO 1529 ACTIVE CUSTOMERS WAS DISCONTINUED UNTIL REPAIRS TO THE MAIN WERE COMPLETED.
