THE SPARE TIRE CARRIER HOIST COMPONENTS CAN BECOME LOOSE WHILE TRAVELING AND ALLOW THE SPARE TIRE TO MOVE FROM ITS STORED POSITION TO THE ROAD SURFACE.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL ADD A PRIMARY SPARE TIRE SUPPORT BRACKET.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING:FUSES AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS
A SOLDER BRIDGE ON THE PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD WITHIN THE FUSE PANEL OF THE POWER CONVERTER PASSED UNDETECTED THROUGH A TEST FIXTURE AND BYPASSES THE FUSE PROTECTING THE CIRCUIT.
Remedy: DETAILED TEST INSTRUCTIONS ARE BEING PROVIDED. IF A DEFECTIVE FUSE PANEL IS FOUND, A NEW REPLACEMENT PANEL WILL BE INSTALLED.

OWNER IS HAVING A PROBLEMS WITH THE HEADLIGHTS ON THE WINNEBAGO MOTORHOME. OWNER HAS CONTACTED THE WINNEBAGO MANUFACTURER WHO REFERRED THE OWNER TO THE FREIGHTLINER MANUFACTURER WHO REPLACED THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH AND CLEANED THE CONTACTS AND REMOVED THE STEERING WHEEL AND REPLACED THE CONTACTS IN THE STEERING WHEEL AND THE PROBLEM STILL EXIST. WHILE IN MOTION, THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE ENGINE. UPON ACCELERATION, AFTER STOPPING, THERE IS A GREAT DEAL OF HESITATION AND BUCKING. CONSUMER CALLED THE DEALER AND THEY INFORMED HIM THAT IT WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE FUEL PUMP. CONSUMER HAD THE PUMP REPLACED AND IS REQUESTING A REIMBURSEMENT OF MONIES PAID. *JG

RECEIVED RECALL NOTICE IN FEB.97, AND CONTACTED THE DEALER 2 MONTHS AGO. THE DEALER ORDERED PARTS, BUT THE DEALER SAID THAT THEY CANNOT GET PARTS FROM THE MANUFACTURER.
