My entire dash went out. Nothing worked. This car has only 3500 miles on it. I got danger signs and it said to stop driving the car. Danger. I also got messages in my e-mail I think from Starlink to stop driving the car and bring it in to service. It was dangerous. Service had it for two weeks. They
... didn't know what to do. They asked if I did something with wires. I'm a [XXX] woman and4'10". What a question. Then some guy at Subaru said "they'll probably have to put a whole new dash in. Days later I called again.Another guy said they had to call all over America to try and find the part. No one to my knowledge has inspected this. I am working with Subaru Customer Care. I don't want this car. I do not feel safe in it.For something so new these emergency problems should not be happening. I want a cash back or give me another car. They had it for two weeks and gave me no explanation what happened. It is not a safe car. I hope Customer Care will help me. Someone has to. The fact remains though, the problem was never initially fixed. You again let me drive an unsafe vehicle which caused premature wear on the tire, and god knows what else. On multiple occasions of inspections you said you found nothing or the vehicle was fine, when it wasn’t. This has created anxiety for me when driving my car, and visiting your facility. I don’t feel comfortable or trust this dealership, service department, or any staff there. I can feel the awkwardness with every visit and the bias that has now been created, but I did not create it, all I did was document and report my experience. My 2018 Hyundai Tucson experienced repeated no-start conditions. The vehicle was initially diagnosed by Randy Wise Hyundai in Flint, Michigan, and I paid approximately $776 for tune-up services that did not resolve the issue. Shortly afterward, the vehicle continued to fail to start. The dealership
... later determined the starter had failed and provided an estimate of approximately $985 for replacement. Hyundai Motor America denied goodwill assistance and reimbursement for the prior misdiagnosed repair and stated the starter replacement is customer-pay. The vehicle’s inability to start caused loss of reliable transportation and safety concerns due to being stranded. I am submitting this complaint to document starter failure and potential diagnostic issues affecting vehicle safety.Read more

SUBARU STRUT ISSUE PART 2 Today is January, 28, 2026 To Whom this may concern, and all parties involved at Peltier Subaru, location 3200 S Southwest Loop 323, Tyler, TX 75701 I regret to inform you that you failed to address my many concerns regarding my vehicle. This caused me to be out of pocke
... t on multiple occasions, with regards to my safety, and my family’s safety when in the vehicle with me. I even drove up there regarding a premature worn tire, to show you the tire and a receipt. I asked about being reimbursed for the tire, and was told I would be reimbursed as soon as finance or human resources was in you guys would take care of it. You haven’t taken care of it, and for that, you now owe more than just one tire. Also, because you never fixed the initial problem, and we agreed that if you fixed the problem I would rescind my negative review. So now my initial review will stand for good, along with all this new information. On Saturday November 22nd, 2025 I had a flat on the way home, but was not far from my house. I was able to use my portable air compressor to put air in the tire, but had to repeat this process about 5 times before making it home because the air was escaping so fast. It also rained that weekend so I didn’t even take the tire until that Tuesday the 25th of November 2025. After taking the tire off and inspecting everything, the evidence was clear that this was caused by the car being out of tolerance and being overlooked by the service department on multiple occasions, even after bringing it to their attention with their own documentation of it. The tire shop in Tatum did not have the tire size I needed, so I drove to henderson and got one for $100 from M AND R ECONOMY TIRES LLC, located at 1000 US HIGHWAY 79 N, HENDERSON, TX 75652, PHONE: [XXX] . 1. The components that failed were the transmission because the vehicle was driving and continued to slow down until it came to a complete stop gradually, and had to be pushed home. And also, there was an issue with the doors unlocking on their own and all windows rolling down by themselves. 2. The
... safety risk was the issues that happened without any knowledge of any issues at all with the vehicle. And the vehicle could have stopped on the highway, and another vehicle could have run into it, and it could have been a very bad incident. And with the doors unlocking and the windows rolling on their own could be exposed to unsafe environments and possibly theft of the vehicle or harm to the occupants. 3. Had a scan done, which showed the issues that were going on with the vehicle 4. I haven't had a chance to have it taken to the manufacturer because it broke down, and I was waiting for some help to get these issues repaired from the manufacturer. And needed from ACC. 5. There wasn't no indicators or lights on when this happened? I was told by a coworker about the windows being down, and with further investigations, I found the doors were unlocked as well, which was done automatically without my control.Read more

The shift cable bushing on my 2015 Ford Escape failed, causing the gear shifter to appear in "Park" when the transmission was actually in a different gear. This posed a significant safety risk, as the vehicle could roll unexpectedly. The problem was diagnosed and confirmed by a certified Ford dealer
... ship. They stated the failure was due to a coolant hose leak affecting the bushing, but this seems questionable since this exact bushing has been recalled previously for premature degradation (Ford recalls 18S20 and 22S25). I experienced the same symptoms reported in the recall: gear position not matching the shifter, difficulty engaging Park, and the potential for the car to roll. There were no warning lights or messages before the failure. I had to pay for the repair out of pocket, even though this appears to be the same defect covered in the recall. The seatbelt reminder system is broken and someone almost took my door off this morning because I had to open my door to get it to stop. Every day when I drop my kids off at school I have to make sure the vehicle is in park so the seatbelt reminder doesn't go off. If they open it a second before I p

It's busy by the school so everyone is in a hurry. So it was beeping non stop because my son unbuckled early and the car will keep beeping even if noone is in the seat. I stopped at the stop sign, turned off the car (and it still kept beeping), opened my door to get it to stop, It was at this point the person behind me thought my car was disabled and went around me, almost taking out my door and possibly my arm at the moment. I also have to do this when someone in the back seat moves seats (and we have to put a seatbelt on an empty seat) or even puts some pressure on a seat. If they sit inbetween seats we then have to put a seatbelt on an empty seat. Dealer says this is the way its designed.Read more

The rear motor failed on my car. It has less than 4,000 miles on it. It is already being worked on. The car barely gave me 10 seconds before it lost power, locked up and wouldn’t move. Yes. They told me the rear motor failed and needed to be replaced. Tesla inspected it themselves and confirmed

I bought a 2023 Honda HR-V on Monday, 9/2/2024. and then on Wednesday, 9/4/2024, while driving to work my read windshield shatters out of nowhere. The glass remained in tact while I continued to drive and then completely shatter when I opened my car door. It sounded like an explosion and it startled
... me. I called the dealer that sold me the car and he proceeded to tell me that this is a known issue specific to 2023 model of HR-V and manufacture error caused when the defroster it causes the glass to shatter. He added the issue can be fixed by simply replacing the window. I did not know this was an issue and it was not disclosed during the car purchase. I am so disappointed in Honda and even more disappointed to learn there is not an active recall to address this issue. Now there is glass all over my trunk space and I having to figure out how to get this fixed with the dealer.Read more

I am writing to express my concern regarding recent design changes implemented by Tesla Motors in their Model 3, Model S, and Model X vehicles. Tesla has removed traditional turn signal and shifting stalks from the steering wheel and replaced them with buttons. While innovation in automotive design
... is crucial for progress, I believe these changes have significant implications for vehicle safety and warrant thorough investigation. The traditional design of turn signal and shifting stalks has been in place for decades and has become a standardized control method universally understood by drivers. This familiarity contributes greatly to safe driving practices and allows drivers to operate their vehicles instinctively. Tesla's decision to replace these tried-and-true controls with buttons on the steering wheel is a substantial departure from this standard and may impact the muscle memory and reflexes that many drivers rely on in critical moments. Moreover, the ergonomic and cognitive effects of this new control layout have not been publicly detailed by Tesla, raising questions about whether sufficient research and testing were conducted to ensure that these changes do not negatively impact the safe operation of the vehicle. The consequences of such changes, especially in situations that require rapid response, could potentially lead to confusion, delayed reaction times, or even accidents. Given these concerns, I respectfully request that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration conducts an investigation into the safety implications of these design changes. Such an investigation would determine whether the removal of traditional turn signal and shifting stalks meets the safety standards necessary to prevent accidents and whether adequate testing and validation were performed prior to these changes being implemented.Read more
