My ABS hydraulic control unit pump motor is not working properly. This has been affecting me since Oct 2024 when we were pulling our 5th wheel and losing braking and power. I learned later that It is part of a NHTSA Recall 24V-896000. Code C4B I was told by the Dodge dealer Jack Powell in [XXX] that I was on waitlist when I reported it to them 12/19/2024. During the next several months I always got the same answer so then filed a case on 7/7/2025 with the FCA. Case #XXX. During many calls after, and including the last call on 3/27/26 that the part was not available, that this was a National backorder with no ETA. I filed another case on 8/17/25 for a rental vehicle - case #XXX. After several calls I got that approved. The Dodge dealer diagnosed my truck with that active code in place. Also to be clear, the dealer has confirmed failure of the ABS system, which disables safety features Due to this defect, the truck can lose ABS braking, tractional control and electronic stability control. The dash warning lights come on all the time, with the sound too. Although I was approved for a rental vehicle, that is for $60 per day and only for a non-tow vehicle. The problem is that this vehicle is primarily used for towing. I have a 5th wheel hitch and use it for towing our 5th wheel trailer, that we purchase early 2024. We tow our boat as well. The bigger problem is that I am near retirement and we are not able to use our 5th wheel for the trips to prepare for that and the plan to travel once I retire later this year. I need to have a functionally comparable vehicle that is equipped for 5th wheel towing as a rental or reimbursement. I would also like a review for alternative remedies due to the unreasonable delay in completing the safety recall. When I contacted Stellantis on 3/27/26 I was told her was no buyback option and they would escalate to the rental dept for my concerns The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The problem with the ABS module started in 2019 when the truck had 43000 miles. The dealership told mee what the problem was but didn't have the parts to repair it. I've been driving it since then with no anti lock brakes, traction control, and no cruise control. This seems unsafe to me and all other drivers. I have contacted the dealership and there is still no remedy for the issue. Please consider this a formal complaint. Thank you.

FCA issued recall C4B notification at the end of 2024, with estimated parts availability in the 2nd quarter of 2025. It is now the 4th quarter of 2025 (almost a year later!) with no update on parts availability. Considering that malfunction of the braking system is a critical safety hazard, it is unacceptable that they have and continue to delay a timely resolution for those impacted.

The loss of ABS/ESC/Traction control may cause this vehicle to crash . Warning lights are present, I have a horse trailer and can not use this truck to pull it due to this danger. I have waited over a year for the remedy to be offered but there is no remedy from the manufacturer for these failures of the ABS/ESC/Traction Control.. This happens EVERY TIME I attempt to drive this truck. It has LOW Mileage due to not being able to drive it.

V06 Recall was attempted, but welding could not be done correctly - was told that was the "best they could do" truck continued to steer poorly (constantly have to hold the steering wheel to one side or the truck will veer out of the lane) bc steer ahead wrong, and to wear outer edge of the tires to an unsafe level in less than half the normal mileage. Now Dodge dealership/Stellantis claims the drag link assembly was permanently damaged by their prior recall work, and that truck cannot be aligned or driven safely but also won't fix it. They have been telling me they will action the case "today" or "one businesses day" since 27 Aug. I found out that the alignment and steering problem I had been spending money to fix since 2019 was a result of their poor recall repair and trying to get a response from Dodge Stellantis since AUG 06, and I have been without the use of the truck and unable to care for my horses since then. I have spent more than 14 hours directly on the phone with them without any action - my truck remains essentially impounded at the dealership. Est 20k miles at initial recall V06 failed repair attempt but their records should say. Current document is currently dealership that admitted the initial recall repair attempt damaged the draglink assembly beyond any hope of salvage/alignment.

Steering and/or front suspension developed into what is called a death wobble at 70mph. The steering wheel had so much hard wobble that it became almost uncontrollable to hold onto it, and keep the vehicle moving straight which put the vehicle onto the shoulder and into a shallow ditch. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? No, but when it happened previously, I had it looked at, and supposedly repaired. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? No, there was no damage to the vehicle, but I am taking it back to the shop where the repair was supposedly made. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No, it came on suddenly.
