Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2011-2012 Nissan Juke vehicles previously remedied under recall 12V-069. During that recall remedy, the fuel pressure sensor may not have been properly tightened, potentially causing the sensor to loosen and leak fuel.
Remedy: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will tighten the fuel pressure sensor to the proper torque, free of charge. The recall began on April 24, 2018. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669.

NISSAN IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011-2012 JUKE, INFINITI QX AND INFINITI M VEHICLES. THE FUEL PRESSURE SENSORS MAY NOT HAVE BEEN TIGHTENED TO THE CORRECT SPECIFICATION. AS A RESULT, THE FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR MAY LOOSEN DUE TO HEAT AND VIBRATION CAUSING FUEL TO LEAK.

My 2011 nissan juke has approximately 118,000 miles and I've ran out of gas several times even when it said there was 88 miles left in the tank and the traction control light won't go off it stays on constantly along with the check engine light and tire pressure warning light and its making a squealing noise and its losing power I've only had it a year I know they have been recalled for certain reasons but I'm not sure if this car has been fixed or not i can't afford to get it fixed due to health and medical bills including hospital bills from when my wife passed away I'm finding several issues people have had with the jukes why isnt nissan extending the recalls because for people who buy them from private people dont know if the car has been recalled or fixed its very unsafe I've lost power while driving at 45 miles an hour because it ran out of gas even when it displayed 88 miles left my car needs fixed and its expensive I had to replace the ball joint and was told it was going to be almost 700$ or it wouldn't pass inspection this car has turned into a money pit i can't even resell it i need help getting it fixed please

I bought this car LATE 2019, from a used dealership. I WAS ON THE FREEWAY ON MY WAY BACK FROM A 1 1/2 HR DRIVE. AND THE CAR SUDDENLY STOPPED ACCELERATING.! I WOULD PUSH DOWN ON THE GAS PETAL AND NOTHING. FREEWAY WITH TRAFFIC. IT WAS SO SCARY! THE CARS BEHIND ME ALMOST HIT ME! I MANAGED TO PUT ON MY HAZARDS LIGHTS ON AND PULLED OVER. THEN WAITED A WHILE, AND THEN TURNED IT BACK ON AND IT WORKED. THEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN. AN SO ON UNTIL I MADE IT BACK HOME, MY 1 HOUR DRIVE TURN INTO 3HRS BECAUSE I KEPT PULLING OVER., UNTIL I GOT INTO THE NEAREST TOWN TO A AUTOZONE TO CHECK IT. Transmission has a problem with overheating on any trip longer than an hour, leading to the car going into limp mode and being unable to maintain speeds and/or climb any high % grade. This has happened to me multiple times, leading to an immediate loss of power and the need to pull over and park on mountain roads to avoid rolling backwards. This is a known issue on juke forums, and nissan themselves have code read countless cars with the CVT transmission being the issue.

The timing chain rattled, wearing a hole in the timing cover causing oil leak. After driving my car and parking it, all of the oil leaked out on to the ground. When trying to drive the car, even before the oil leak, the car would completely shut off whenever I would slow down, including in the middle of intersections. After taking it to a mechanic, they told me that the timing chain had worn a hole in the timing cover, and a Nissan dealership service shop told me that I would need to get the engine replaced. Even before all of the oil leaked out, I was put in great danger not knowing when my car would shut off when driving it and slowing down. At one point, the service engine soon light came on, but it went away and the car drove like normal for a period before the oil leaked out. I was never informed about any recalls or service notices when I bought the car or when getting it routinely serviced.

The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who performed the recall repair under NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V156000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). After retrieving the vehicle, the odor of fuel was still present. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who diagnosed that the fuel pressure sensor was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The failure mileage was 106,000. Problem with EVAP system. Many different codes are showing which means paying an extreme amount of money to diagnose problem and repair. Could be solenoid issue with the turbo part. CANNOT GET MY CAR SMOGGED because of this. The need service light does not go off. I am going to have to spend thousands at the dealer. This should be a recall issue.

REPORTED TO NISSANUSA ABOUT SITUATION AND WAS TOLD ALL RECALLS WERE CLOSED ON VEHICLE, I'M JUST CONCERNED THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE WITH THIS VEHICLE RETAINING TO A PART THAT WAS ALREADY RECALLED FOR FEAR OF FAILURE AND RISK AND REPLACED WITH ANOTHER PART THAT IS INFERIOR OR REINSTALLED INCORRECTLY. SECOND FAILURE OF TIMING CHAIN AND FRONT COVER AFTER INITIAL REPAIR UNDER CAMPAIGN P4213. FAILURE IS OF EXACT SAME PARTS REPLACED UNDER CAMPAIGN, BUT NISSAN IS REFUSING TO ASSIST IN ANY WAY WITH A SECOND REPAIR. FAILURE OF THESE PARTS CAUSES A MASSIVE OIL DUMP, STALLING OF VEHICLE, AND FURTHER DAMAGE IF DRIVEN. CAR STALLED WHILE TURNING INTO A GAS STATION AND DUMPED ALL OIL.

I HAD ALL MY FILTERS REPLACED THREE TIMES AND ATTEMPTED TO TAKE MY VEHICLE TO ALTERNATE NISSAN DEALERSHIPS DUE TO PERSISTENT SMELL OF GAS BUT WAS TOLD SINCE THEY'RE ARE NO OPEN CAMPAIGNS WITH MY VIN. I TOOK MY VEHICLE BACK TO ORIGINAL DEALERSHIP AND HAVE NOW BEEN TOLD IT IS INDEED LEAKING FUEL AS A DIRECT RESULT OF THE RECALL BUT THEY ARE UNABLE TO COVER THE COSTS OF THE REPAIR DUE TO IT ALREADY BEEN PREVIOUSLY WORKED ON. WHEN MY TIMING CHAIN BROKE, I WAS TOLD BY HENDERSON NISSAN IN NEVADA THAT THE VALVES WERE DAMAGED BECAUSE OF THE DEFECTIVE TIMING CHAIN. A REP FROM NISSAN'S CORPORATE OFFICE TOLD ME THAT MY VIN NUMBER DOES NOT FALL INTO THE RECALL CATEGORY FOR THE DEFECTIVE TIMING CHAIN SO THEY DID NOT WANT TO PAY FOR THE $9,000 FOR A NEW ENGINE. THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT IN CALIFORNIA IN REGARDS TO THE TIMING CHAIN.

FUEL PRESSUE SENSOR FAILED AFTER TORQUED DOWN RECALL WAS COMPLETED BY DEALER. BOUGHT MY 2011 JUKE NEW FROM DEALER. CAR HAS BEEN PAID OFF SINCE 2016. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY RECALL INFORMATION REGARDING THE FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR UNTIL 2018. I WAS NOT EXPERIENCING ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLE. APON RECIEVING THE RECALL NOTICE IN MAY 2018, I TOOK MY VEHICLE IN TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP TO ADDRESS RECALL. I PICKED UP MY JUKE AND BROUGHT IT HOME. SINCE I HAVE ANOTHER VEHICLE, THIS ONE WAS NOT MY DAILY DRIVER. I WENT OUT ONCE EVERY FEW DAYS TO CRANK IT UP. I DID NOTICE THAT THERE WAS A FUEL SMELL WHEN I CRANKED THE CAR. THOUGHT MAYBE SINCE THEY TORQUED THE FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR FOR THE RECALL, MAYBE SOMEHOW FUEL HAD GOTTEN IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND WOULD SIMPLY BURN OFF. THIS CONTINUED EVERY TIME I STARTED THE CAR. I DECIDED TO TAKE IT BACK TO THE DEALER. HAD TO TOW VEHICLE 30+ MILES BECAUSE OF POSSIBLE FIRE OR EXPLOSION FROM ANY IGNITION SOURCE THAT COULD OCCUR. I WAS CONCERNED WHEN THE FUEL SMELL DID NOT GO AWAY. SERVICE MANAGER CALLED AND SAID IT WAS THE FUEL PRESSURE SENDER AND THAT IT WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. I ASK FOR PART NUMBER WHICH CAME BACK TO FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR. HE ADVISED ME THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY OVER $750 DOLLARS FOR PARTS AND LABOR. SO I AUTHORIZED HIM TO ORDER THE PART BECAUSE THEY DONT KEEP RECALL PARTS ON HAND. I NEEDED TO CONTACT NISSAN. MY QUESTION IS IF THERE IS OR HAS BEEN 3 SEPARATE RECALLS FOR THIS PART AND MY VEHICLE WAS FINE BEFORE THE 2018 RECALL REPAIR. WHY IS THE DEALER REQUIRING ME TO PAY FOR THE REPAIR?
