Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE and 2022-2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE vehicles. The high voltage battery may fail internally and lead to a vehicle fire while parked or driving.
Consequence
A vehicle fire while parked or driving can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
This recall is replaced by NHTSA recall number 25V741. Vehicles already repaired under this recall will need to have the new remedy completed. There is a recall in place for this issue but no remedy in place or timeline. This vehicle can start on fire anytime while driving or parked. This is not reparable at the moment but JEEP FCA need to help owners who cannot drive their cars since unsafe.
