I am submitting this complaint regarding Ford safety recall 25SA9 for my 2019 Ford Fiesta involving the rearview camera. This recall has remained unresolved for over 14 months. I opened a case with Ford and was instructed to continue waiting, but no repair has been completed and no meaningful resolution has been provided. Because this is a safety recall, 1 am concerned that the remedy has not been made available within a reasonable period of time. In addition to the safety concern, this ongoing delay has caused financial hardship. I use this vehicle for Turo rentals and have been unable to continue renting it out due to the open recall, which has negatively affected my income and safety. I am requesting review of Ford's delay in providing a remedy and any assistance available due to the extended unresolved status of this safety recall. Around 50,000 miles I noticed the car would jerk when trying to shift gears , this issue persisted and would only go on to get worse. It started taking forever to accelerate regardless of pressing on the gas, now at 70,000 miles it won’t shift out of 2nd gear when driving over 40 mph, it’s a huge safety issue .

The transmission does not shift properly.\n And causes it to overheat, this has been a known problem with Ford motor company. I have called and can get no help with them. The repair cost way more than my vehicle is worth. I can't find a transmission company to even do it. There have been buybacks and extended warranties for this very issue. However, my car has more miles. Than the extended more, she allows and Had I had known about this before the end of June of last year. They would have covered it, and I think this is unfair. I'm a [XXX] veteran that's disabled, and as far as the back up camera, it's been out Within a year of me purchasing the car and I have trouble with my neck and I needed the backup camera that's one of the reasons I bought the car and now they have waited so long that the transmission is having issues. And if I can't get that help, then they will waited until it won't even be necessary to work on the backup camera they've outlasted the car. See attached document for complaint. am writing to file a complaint regarding Recall 25SA9 (NHTSA Recall 25V695) affecting my vehicle, a Ford (please confirm make/model ~~based on VIN if needed~~) The recall states the rearview camera may display a blank or distorted image when in reverse, posing a crash risk. I received the recall notice over a month ago, but the dealership has no parts available for the repair, and despite multiple contacts with the dealership and Ford's recall department, I've been unable to get a resolution. This is causing significant safety concerns and inconvenience. Specifically, I: Have not been offered a loaner vehicle. Have been told no parts are available with no clear timeline. Feel unsafe driving in reverse and am taking extra precautions. I request NHTSA's assistance in escalating this matter to ensure a timely fix and consider compensation for the inconvenience. I've documented all interactions with the dealership and Ford. Thank you for your attention to this safety matter. I appreciate your help in addressing this issue. PS: This is the 2nd RECALL Since Purchase! I am a Loyal Customer and should be treated with Respect!
This is the 2nd email I sent and haven't gotten any response yet. My rear view camera is getting worse and distorted. Very hard to see out of it, especially at night. I have my grandchild in my car on a daily. I can't even sell this car because the recall is on the Car Fax Report. Who is going to buy a car that has an outstanding recall, especially finding out the parts to fix it are unavailable? And not knowing when they will be available? Who's going to be responsible when something does happen? This issue needs to be addressed before something does happen.
My back up camera has been recalled. No parts are available to get it fixed. I have children in my car on a daily. The camera is getting worse. I can't even sell it because the safety recall is in the Car Fax Report. I don't want to drive this car anymore. What are my options?

Brakes started seizing up while driving. Became extremely dangerous as the car would rock at speed and also would not start moving if I came to a stop. Went immediately to a shop, when I arrived into the shop, inspection found that the caliper was locked onto the wheel preventing the front wheel from moving. Had the caliper replaced but the caliper was still seizing, and then had to get the ABS Hydraulic Assembly, P/N D2BZ 2C405-E replaced. This P/N seem to be causing a lot of troubles from online forums. This issue had no warming lamps, messages or anything indicating this other than a feel that the car is accelerating more slowly. However, when the brakes started seizing, the situation felt extremely dangerous.

The transmission does not gear down when turning at an intersection at a green light, causing the transmission to stall and when pushing the gas pedal it just revs the engine and does not engage that transmission

I own a 2019 Ford Fiesta. The backup camera frequently malfunctions by either displaying a black screen, freezing, or glitching with distorted visuals. This issue occurs more often than not when the vehicle is put into reverse. I’ve confirmed that my vehicle is not included in NHTSA Recall Number 22V082000, but the symptoms match exactly. This creates a clear safety concern, especially in school zones, parking lots, and other areas where visibility behind the vehicle is critical. I believe my vehicle should be included in the existing recall or a new investigation should be opened for additional affected vehicles outside of the current VIN range.
•Make: Ford •Model: Fiesta ST •Model Year: 2019 •Engine: 1.6L EcoBoost •Mileage at Incident: 95000 Component Affected: Engine / Cooling System Summary of Problem: Coolant is leaking into the combustion chamber of my 1.6L EcoBoost engine due to a suspected internal engine defect. This issue caused noticeable white smoke from the exhaust, engine misfires, and a loss of power while driving. The coolant loss was not visible externally, indicating internal leakage. After diagnostic testing at a Ford dealership, I was informed the engine block or cylinder head is compromised, allowing coolant intrusion into the cylinders. The dealer quoted approximately $12,000 for a full engine replacement and confirmed that this is a known issue with Ford EcoBoost engines. Safety Concerns: The vehicle became unreliable and unsafe to drive, especially at highway speeds, due to the misfiring and sudden power loss. If this failure had occurred during certain driving conditions, it could have led to an accident. Furthermore, the cost of repair is unreasonably high for a systemic engine defect not caused by consumer neglect. Request for Investigation: This appears to be part of a broader, well-documented problem with various EcoBoost engines across Ford’s lineup ( TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN 19-2346 2.0L EcoBoost - Coolant In Cylinders, White Exhaust Smoke And/Or Illuminated MIL). I am submitting this complaint in hopes that NHTSA will investigate the safety implications of this engine defect and push for accountability from Ford through recalls or reimbursement programs.

Due to my 2019 ford fiesta SE back up camera glitching in and out and sometimes doesn’t work at all. Today it finally worked as I was backing up out of food lion parking lot. A mother and child were walking behind me all of a sudden the camera glitched and if I had not checked my review mirror quickly. I could have backed up over that small child on his tricycle. Please hurry and come up with an effective solid fix. If a teenager has these vehicles, somebody could really get hurt. Please email me immediately when you have the equipment to fix this problem because this is not OK. It’s dangerous very dangerous. Thank you.
2019 FORD FIESTA ST First off the car is absolutely show room condition with 8,000 miles on it. I was rolling up to a stop side which is located on a hill and noticed when i put the clutch it the clutch was stuck to the floor. The car lurched forward and could not get the car to accelerate after being stuck in the middle of an intersection. Finally i was able to pop the clutch out with my toes off the floor and get the vehicle home. Spoke with a friend that has the same car with 30,000 miles on it and he is also having issues with the clutch going to the floor and getting stuck. Upon research this is a common complaint and a serious safety issue but FORD seems to be very quiet about it. I can't imagine there is not significantly more of these issues especially when my closest friend is having identical issues. Upon research this looks to be very common issue but no TSP or recalls.

Vehicle fails to accelerate sometimes when gas pedal is pressed.
Upon stopping when applying the brakes they locked up. There were no warning lights on. It was diagnosed by an independent auto repair shop, not drivable I had it towed to the Ford Dealership. The ABS module, and calipers have failed. I learned there was a recall on these parts but do not apply to my specific vin #. The ABS module is on national back order, likely a month out. I have paid for the part. The service dept quoted new rotors calipers/hose and pads I think this vehicle may need to be added to the recall since it is the exact same failure. Luckily I was in town and not on the interstate when the brake system failed.
I’m 99% sure the heated seat shorted out and caught my car on fire causing the car to burn completely to the ground in a total lose.
Fire
My clutch slave cylinder failed with approximately 64000 mi on the vehicle. This is a hydraulic system sharing the same reservoir as the brakes. The clutch pedal stuck to the floor leaving me unable to change gear while driving on the highway. Had to pull off on the side of the road and manually pull up the clutch with my hand. After that it functioned seemingly fine. I took the car to a local garage who diagnosed the issue and said it was fairly common on these cars. Part has not been replaced yet so it cannot be inspected but it is scheduled to go in to have the transmission dropped and slave cylinder replaced. There were no lamps messages or other warning signs prior to the incident on the highway aside from a slight softening of the clutch feel which occured during the months proceeding the failure. The clutch in this vehicle is notoriously soft to begin with so it did not feel much different. Thank you
