Related Recall: 24-01-023G DTC P1A9096 CHECK FOR ICCU & FUSE REPLACEMENT & ICCU SOFTWARE UPDATE (RECALL 021G) On August 8, 2025 I was vacationing and attempted to charge the vehicle at a hotel's level 2 destination charger (32 amp) but the vehicle refused to charge. I then drove 20 minutes away to
... DC Fast Charge and it worked, and tried level 2 charging again, it still did not work. I ruled out that the level 2 charging station was the problem due to seeing someone else successfully charging from that station. When I returned home, I found that my home charger also stopped charging at 32 amps (though slower 16 amps still worked). On December 14, 2025 I was driving on the highway when I heard a loud pop noise and the vehicle immediately lost propulsion, resulting in a dangerous situation where the car needed to limp at low speeds to the side of the road. There, the car fully lost all mobility and needed to be towed to a Genesis dealership. They diagnosed the problem as a faulty ICCU, and replaced it as well as installed new software to prevent this situation from reoccurring. In May 29, 2026 the vehicle once again no longer charges at 32 amps at home. The charging would initiate and last a few minutes before fully disengaging and the car reports "Charger Not Connected". Since this is a repeat of the same ICCU failure (above), and I DO NOT wish to lose vehicle propulsion on the highway like before, I have stopped driving the vehicle until it can be diagnosed and fixed by Genesis dealership. I am awaiting for the local Genesis dealership's next availability in a week. I no longer can safely drive my vehicle until this is fixed for a second time. The issue is still unresolved as of today, June 8th 2026.Read more

This vehicle has a known design flaw which causes the cylinder gasket to leak and require replacement. VW has only issued a Technical Service Notice which was no provided to owners regarding the part that needed replacement. They are correcting the problem with a differently designed part in order t
... o try to cure the design flaw. This can cause catastrophic engine failure. It should have been a recall. I should have been notified and the car should have been repaired at VW’s expense. They have explained since your agency didn’t issue a recall, they dot need to inform the public. Now they are expecting me to pay $3000 to correct their design error and also pay for rental car while it is under repair. This is a major violation of the lemon law, and yet there are numerous verified complaints. Issue a recall on the 2023 Taos, they are clearly scamming owners and leaving them in danger with a vehicle that has a faulty engine part. ... rive belt and told me it would be covered but they didn’t know how long it would take….after having it for OVER a month, they called and said it was finished and ready for pick-up so I picked my car up on September 9th (still was driving weird) and picked my kids up from school & daycare, then went home so I only drove it about an hour before parking it. I went to leave to take my son to school the next morning and before I even pulled out of the driveway, the same error message had kicked on and the engine would seize and died- which is the same exact thing it did whenever it initially broke down…. Well they had it towed back to them on Wednesday September 10th so they could take a look at it since it was most likely related to the recall… So they called me the next day to let me know they had checked it out and it was an issue with the PCM and is unrelated to the recall and it will be $1,600 to fix it even though it’s doing the SAME EXACT thing it did whenever it broke down the first time. I found information supporting the fact that the issues from the recall can most certainly cause damages to the PCM. I also found out my car was part of a class action lawsuit and the Plaintiffs allege that Ford internally acknowledges that there is no permanent fix for the alleged defect; however, it continued to manufacture and sale the car. I don’t know what to do at this point but if they aren’t going to make it right then I guess my next step is to speak with an attorney for emotional distress and loss of pay. I tried to resolve the issue with the dealership but they weren’t helpful so customer support opened a case. While idling, especially at red lights or in park, my 2019 Jeep Cherokee vibrates noticeably. The issue has been

On several occasions, the vehicle has struggled to restart after the engine auto-shuts off at a traffic light, raising concerns about reliability and safety. I brought the vehicle to a Jeep dealer, and I was told that because this is not a recall issue, there is nothing they can do. No warning lights or diagnostic codes were found. However, the problem persists and affects the vehicle’s comfort and function. It also poses a potential safety risk due to distraction and instability at idle. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance. The component is available for inspection upon request.Read more
