While driving at normal speeds. Car completely stopped working. Dashboard flashed to get to safe area. I could not shift the car neutral. Steering became stiff. The lights and infotainment was still on but the car had no power to accelerate. Had this been on the highway I would have been in a collision since my car went to the right very quick. Once car was stopped could not shift to neutral.

Electrical restart feature failures, battery dash indicator comes on and the restart feature won’t engage. This has happened on several occasions on busy roads with lights vehicle won’t move without manually turning off vehicle and putting into park to restart. Was almost rear ended by large truck after being unable to restart vehicle after being stopped at a red light.

The all around vehicle camera system fails on average every 6 months. As the dealership is far away in our area, I have to take a 1/2 day to full day off work to take it over. I believe we are now on the third replacement camera module, in need of a fourth that was just replaced less than two months ago. GM makes it unreasonable to deal with. While driving in traffic on the interstate with adaptive cruise control working, all lights on the dash illuminated for 1 to 2 seconds, adaptive cruise control kicked off, the dash then went totally blank for 2 to 3 seconds then slowly came back to life with the fuel gauge showing zero when there was ¾ of a tank prior to this event.

Driving on highway when we approached a traffic jam. Car started mis-firing (jerking) especially at low speed. Got off roadway as soon as it was safe to do so. Went to O'Reilly Auto Parts to get a diagnosis. Stated issue with coil in 2 so replaced and still having issue. Replaced 2 spark plug but did not fix the problem. Following day replaced all coils and spark plugs and still did not fix
... the problem. Brought it to the nearest Ford Dealer and was told there was coolant intrusion to the engine and it would have to be replaced. Two days later after engine arrived discovered transmission fluid leak into the main engine harness, another $1,600. Total cost is going to be $12,755.00. We experienced rough shifting, engine revving and now it won't shift out of first gear. The car is not driveable. We've taken it to Town & Country Toyota in Charlotte, NC where they said it could not be repaired and it needed replacing for $12,000. The car has 121,000 miles and is not under warranty. Also took it to an independent transmission shop and they said to replace the transmission as well

The DCM on our 2021 Subaru Crosstrek is causing a parasitic drain on the battery. It left us stranded several times. We replaced the battery twice in the past 15 months. There is a class action lawsuit against Subaru for this exact problem, but they won't replace it on our vehicle because it has over 45,000 miles. Coolant reservoir keeps losing coolant. Took it to a mechanic who said it has a blown head gasket. Ford knows about this issue for this exact vehicle and has known since at least 2020, but hasn't issued any recalls. There are at least two service bulletins about this car.
