On September 6, 2016, about 1540 local time, a Piper PA-34-200T multi-engine airplane, serial number 34-8070170, German registry D-GLLW, was destroyed after impacting terrain while on an ILS approach to Runway 34 at Alexander the Great Airport (LWSK), Skopje, Macedonia. The six persons on-board were fatally injured. The airplane had departed from Treviso Airport (LIPH), Milan, Italy, and was destined for LWSK.
