An employee was cleaning up a demolished ceiling grid and hanger wire. He was using the hanger wire to bundle the ceiling grid. While wrapping a bundle with the hanger wire, the loose end swung around and went under his safety glasses, striking him in the right eye. The employee suffered an injury that required hospitalization and surgery.
