An employee was preparing to treat a well down the casing. The employee bled off the pressure through a needle valve on the bull plug. As the employee was removing the bull plug with a pipe wrench, trapped pressure released, and the bull plug struck the employee's leg above their left knee. The employee was hospitalized with a fractured leg.
