An employee was five feet up a 10-foot ladder using a reciprocating saw to cut a PVC pipe that was suspended from the ceiling. He lost his balance and fell to the concrete floor. The employee sustained a fractured ankle, tibia, and fibula. He was hospitalized for surgery.
